Freedom of Speech Tour

On the Mark and I saw Crosby Stills Nash & Young’s Freedom of Speech show at the Hollywood Bowl last night -- Terrific!! The show opened with “Flags of Freedom” and the concert continued for more than three hours including an intermission.

Since he sold his old baseball team
There's lot of people looking at big trouble
But of course the president is clean

I don't think CSN&Y had any idea what the cost of our so-called freedom would begin to tally when they debuted that song.

What a great concert -- and how apropos. I've been thinking about parallels between Vietnam and the current war, and wondering, where have all the protesters gone?

Exactly Alice. I think a lot of them went to the movie industry though, there are some awesome movies out right now.

I think this quote about sums it up though, from Peter Carroll.

Truly the people of America Rock, Just can't say the same about your President, I see some communities in America are adding the impeachment question to Novembers ballot. Another Canadian Artist has been touring the States and Canada singing his songs that are anti U.S. Government, Bruce Cockburn sings, Tell the Universe what you've done, and This is Baghdad. The world looks to the American people to lead us to peace, not into wars with other nations, We are all on this planet together and we must thrive for peace, Get out of the Middle East, make cars that run on alternative fuels...
