President Bush Answers Rhetorical Question

“All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes.”
Winston Churchill (1874-1965), British politician and writer

Tonight, President Bush, aka the Decider, will answer John Kerry’s rhetorical question posed to Congress 36 years ago:

"...How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?"

Bush’s answer: Fellow Americans, I am going to increase the number of troops sent to Iraq, so no one will know who the last to die for my mistake will be.

Thanks for drawing attention back to Kerry's question, that always stuck in my head.

Chandira, that is the Bush logic, only he can figure it out. Bush has been a complete disaster for this country.

this whole we-must-stay-the-course-so-nobody-who-has-died-will-have-died-in-vain mentality has got to go. anyone who serves serves with honor, no matter where they are told to go. anyone who serves and dies has died for his country, no matter how big a mistake it was. the lives of our fallen soldiers are all on Bush's head. but that doesn't mean they have died in vain. because if it does, we'll never ever leave. ever.
