On the Mark says: Yes! and I'm glad to see he's already at work filling posts and having a transition meeting. The next 60+ days are going to be really interesting because we're going to have Obama ready to be president today, a country and world that wants Obama to be president today, but a sitting president and vice president who are already hard at work doing as much damage as they can before they leave. It will be interesting to see if Obama calls Bush out on some of his actions because Obama already will be stepping into a big mess without the additional damage even being considered.
It would be weird but thrilling to have Obama hold a press conference next month, should need arise, in which he delicately says, "Hey, Mr. President -- just leave it alone already and I'll take care of it at the end of January."
