“We can't allow the world's worst leaders to blackmail, threaten, hold freedom-loving nations hostage with the world's worst weapons.”
George W. Bush, president, talking about his own administration apparently
Okay people, wake up! Do you realize that our president and his administration are blackmailing the U.S. people? He just played his hand this morning in his speech.
Because you didn’t let us drill in ANWR you are now paying the price. If you want prices to go down here is what you can allow us to do: drill the crap out the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), which is a National Wildlife Refuge in northeastern corner of Alaska. Hmm, I wonder why they just use the acronym?
What will this do; more short-term solutions? It will allow us to put off the day of reckoning just a bit longer, so we still won’t deal with the problem at hand.
Hello, Hello, anybody awake out there?

One doesn't even have to be a conspiracy theorist anymore to connect the dots.
Oh, and don't forget about the need to build new oil refineries even though the ones we have are all operating at only 85% efficiency to keep their profit margins healthy.
Hi Teresa, it's great to see you comment here again. The entire oil cartel is a monopoly that needs to be broken up somehow. And, officials from the administration should not be allowed to go into the oil industries or military industries to stop the sweetheart deals that are made with each other.
Also, my interest in blogging has waned to the degree I am not sure when I will post again. The entire jury mess only inspired me to continue writing, but now I am taking a bit of a break.
I think what we are seeing is the dying gasp of desperate people in denial about the oil thing.
I can't understand their concept of infinite oil.. Or the infinite capacity of most of us to sit there and take this crap up the *** like we seem to be doing, feeling powerless and immobile. I think it's just as much our faults for that, we are complicit in it, as a culture.
