I have to thank Mark, who has made my day by posting this wonderful excerpt from a long ago Batman comic. If you can't read it, click it to see it bigger. The president is saying, "I understand, Batman! You have 24 hours to solve this your way -- but after that, I must take direct action to protect the nation!"
If only our sitting president had such wonderful advisors.
