Now ads for new releases don't even mention VHS (don't even think about Beta) -- it's all DVD and UMD which, for those of you who are out of the loop, is the format for usage on your personal videogame player (brand expunged to avoid gratuitous product placement).
I guess this means I'm one step closer to being totally out of it -- but at least I know what "UMD" means.

Hey B2. Long time no comment. Using Firefox at work now, and there are no problems with viewing your blog like with IE.
Yeah, and soon DVD will go the way of the VHS cause we'll just be watching movies in our dreams, with commercials... like that episode of Futurama.
Welcome back to the fold, Hector. I've found myself reading fewer blogs lately because I'm getting my butt kicked regularly by piles of work -- but I hope to rectify that situation. (Heh heh -- I said "butt", "piles", and "rectify" in the same sentence -- it's your bad influence again.)
Yeah, that's been an issue for me too. Using all three of those words in a sentence has proven difficult.
UMD's are what we did find in Iraq.
