Score Two for the Rich and Powerful

Thinking to get at once all the gold that the goose could give, he killed it, and opened it only to find—nothing.
Aesop (620? - 560 BC), Greek writer

What a shame. The American people lose two rounds in the ring with the Republican Senate. Tuesday was a red-letter day for President Bush as the Senate assured final passage of the first major overhaul of the nation’s bankruptcy law in 27 years, and voted down increases in the minimum wage. President Bush should feel proud that he can kick those who are down.

Oh, we all know this place is going to the dogs.. One more point on the scorechart.

At least Bush can't get back in, unless they rewrite that little law, too.
And hopefully Piggy Rove will have had his heart attack by then. If there is a God.
