Don't bother with echinacea.

Echinacea, the herbal remedy widely believed to prevent or ease the misery of the common cold, turns out to be no more effective than a placebo, according to a new study by the University of Virginia School of Medicine. [Source]

And anyone was really surprised?

Echinacea makes me feel sick if I take it on a regular basis. Why, I have no idea?

Echinacea never worked for me either. But instantly drinking lots of hot calamansi juice (it's like hot lemonade) plus getting lots of sleep does.

I think I'm allergic to echinacea, so I was pleased to see it's useless against colds. Take that, wife!

Stuff like this is incredibly disturbing to me. Makes me wonder what else they could be wrong about...

Sometimes a placebo can be just as effective. If it doesn't hurt you and you think that it works.......

P.S. A beach requires saltwater. ;)

Sambucol is the miracle cure. OTM told me about and I thought he was mad, but it works!

What was that about? It is not like I put it in your food, or ever even suggested that you take it.
