My five-year-old has her own CD player in her room. No phone, yet, and no TV. And no Nintendo anywhere in the house. But she's gotta have her tunes, right? So here's the playlist on her latest CD (burned by yours truly); incidentally, all of these songs were hand-picked by her.
The Spongebob Squarepants Theme SongYou'll note that I've included just a few hyperlinks; I find that it's disheartening to see too many places to visit. Enjoy!

That is SO GREAT! My kids love all kinds of music too. My 10 year old son is a major Tom Waits fan... ;)
Ha! Looks like our five-year olds have been file-sharing on the internet.
"Pop Music" was actually by a band called "M", not Devo.
This is a girl who is clearly after my own heart.:)
Panthergirl, I too am a huge Tom Waits fan. I didn't discover him until high school. I am very impressed that a 10-year old likes such interesting and poetic lyrics. Wife says he sounds like he has throat cancer. We won't go into her taste in music or lack thereof.
