Resurfaced from The Misanthrope’s Desk – Orville Part II

Clarity is the politeness of the man of letters.
Jules Renard (1864 - 1910), writer

Dear Mr. Redenbacher or Whomever:

Why have I not received an answer to my letter that was sent January 2, 1985?

Who cares if there is an Orville Redenbacher or not? I would just like the courtesy of an answer!

Sincerely,
The Misanthrope
Former Orville Redenbacher Popping Corn Eater!

P.S. I have enclosed a copy of my original letter, just in case it was lost in the mail.

Orville died, but they haven't told anyone yet. ;)

Actually, in 1995 (I may be off on the date) Redenbacher was found dead in a whirlpool bathtub in his condominium, having drowned after suffering a heart attack... Hunt-Wesson (including the Redenbacher brand) was acquired by ConAgra Foods in 1990.
